Spectators: 6846 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 0) Victor Ning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Azly Hong made a huge save. After a rather tough play, West Bromwich's Alam Seng got a free kick in the 10th minute. Famih Abdul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Azly Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hamir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iskandar Ee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamir Lee in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Crawley's goal looked a bit too open when Hamir Lee came free, but Iskandar Ee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Crawley's Famih Abdul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azly Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iskandar Ee came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by West Bromwich's Hamir Lee. But to his dismay, Hamir Lee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Victor Ning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crawley's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Ning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azly Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamir Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Iskandar Ee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lamar Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Crawley players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Bromwich were winning 0-1.

Azly Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ning in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Teo in the 57th minute of play forced West Bromwich's goalkeeper Azly Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iskandar Ee was a little too slow when Hamir Lee got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. West Bromwich's Azly Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Famih Abdul in the 71st minute of play. Victor Ning might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azly Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Ning ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the game, West Bromwich's Lamar Amin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iskandar Ee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 85 played minutes Crawley got a freekick which was hit by Asiz Singh. Azly Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamar Amin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
