After 6 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ron Yip. Darryl Yi-Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Hee in the 9th minute of play. Lee Dyce charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Dyce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kings Cross fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Arsenal FC. Samuel Dyce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rudy Hee. 0-1. Darryl Yi-Sheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohammad Hsi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Darryl Yi-Sheng made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mohammad Hsi sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th match minute, Kings Cross was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Abisheganaden to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gara Chong in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudy Hee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rudy Hee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Politiek, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The nice shot from Alif Politiek in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Darryl Yi-Sheng had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With his leg Darryl Yi-Sheng managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Kings Cross's Alif Politiek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kings Cross's Alif Politiek got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darryl Yi-Sheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fariz Hee went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st play minute Alif Politiek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Darryl Yi-Sheng. 3-1. Fariz Hee in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Darryl Yi-Sheng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Adam Hongyi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rudy Hee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Alan Hui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kings Cross the free kick. In the 55th minute Alif Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alif Politiek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Darryl Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ron Yip. 64 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alif Politiek came free, but Darryl Yi-Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hsi in the 65th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Darryl Yi-Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudy Hee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Darryl Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohammad Hsi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darryl Yi-Sheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darryl Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alif Politiek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Yi-Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fariz Hee, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Mohammad Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rudy Hee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohammad Hsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl Yi-Sheng having to interfere. When Rudy Hee came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Kings Cross fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Hee couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes Arsenal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haziq Cheng who took care of the corner kick. Arsenal FC's Darryl Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Leng in the 96th minute of play. Kings Cross walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
