Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1330, VIP seats: 161) Sean Lim made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Fordham's Tan Soon got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Ryan Peng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alois Hořava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rifqi Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jithu Tioe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Liversedge defense, Ron Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jithu Tioe. The Liversedge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jithu Tioe should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Yeo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Liversedge's Jithu Tioe got control of the ball when Rifqi Wah tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ron Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fordham fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Fordham's Ron Soon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes of play, Fordham's Ron Soon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jithu Tioe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rifki Low struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jithu Tioe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fordham. In the 35th minute, Fordham's Prime Chian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Prime Chian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fordham protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Prime Chian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the match, Fordham's goal looked a bit too open when Wong Swee came free, but Marco Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Abdul in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Firdauz Hoe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Nicholas Abdul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rifqi Wah might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jithu Tioe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rifqi Wah ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Nicholas Abdul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alois Hořava made a kick off. If Sean Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jithu Tioe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alois Hořava in the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rifqi Wah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fordham's supporters rose to their feet, but Rifqi Wah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jithu Tioe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Sean Yeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 64th minute, Alois Hořava ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jithu Tioe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Alois Hořava struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jithu Tioe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fordham. Alois Hořava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jithu Tioe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifqi Wah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rifqi Wah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Tioe having to interfere. Jithu Tioe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Wah in the 86th minute of play. Marco Saldanha was a little too slow when Firdauz Hoe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-2. If Alois Hořava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fordham had played much better football throughout.
