Spectators: 6648 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1460, VIP seats: 88) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sarb Chee kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Shapitears FC's goalkeeper Khairul Kang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi Low. Didi Low sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Runcorn booed when Shapitears FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farhan Vijiaratnam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khairul Kang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hidayat Teo in the 10th minute. Alexander Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarb Chee in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Azly Braddell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shapitears FC and the Runcorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Runcorn booed when Shapitears FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azly Braddell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Faiz Chien-Kwan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khairul Kang skillfully saved the ball. Khairul Kang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Low's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Didi Low shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairul Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Azly Braddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarb Chee, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azly Braddell in the 31st minute of play forced Runcorn's goalkeeper Alexander Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Sarb Chee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shapitears FC's goalkeeper Khairul Kang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hidayat Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Teo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Shapitears FC's Sarb Chee. But to his dismay, Sarb Chee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hidayat Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Shapitears FC's Farhan Vijiaratnam got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi Low in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khairul Kang saved Shapitears FC from getting behind. Alexander Teo was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Sarb Chee capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sarb Chee really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Sarb Chee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azly Braddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alexander Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Faiz Chien-Kwan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Runcorn and the Shapitears FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Runcorn getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Faiz Chien-Kwan hit a great ball. If Hidayat Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot by Zack Chuan from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Alexander Teo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hidayat Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khairul Kang having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Runcorn's goalkeeper Alexander Teo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azly Braddell. Sarb Chee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Runcorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faiz Chien-Kwan to maneuver through the defense. Azly Braddell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 89th playminute. Runcorn's attack was well implemented in the 95th minute, but when Didi Low was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.
