Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1330, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anil Amin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ron Soon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Ronn Chew skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Amin in the 6th minute of play forced Fordham's goalkeeper Marco Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsworth AFC's zone, Alois Hořava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronn Chew came out of the goal and Alois Hořava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zak Teo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Anil Amin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Zak Teo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fordham's Ron Soon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 30th minute, Haziq Keng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronn Chew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alois Hořava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zak Teo in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Nailsworth AFC's Anil Amin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haziq Keng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Saldanha having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Nailsworth AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rifqi Wah fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 43 minutes into the game, Gerard Chian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nailsworth AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fordham the free kick. After 43 played minutes Nailsworth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Chian. With a little luck, Nailsworth AFC's Ronn Chew got control of the ball when Ron Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ron Soon to make the kick off. Fordham's Marco Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Fordham from getting a goal against them. Rifki Low hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ronn Chew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Wah, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Nailsworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haziq Keng to maneuver through the defense. Rifqi Wah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronn Chew having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Rifqi Wah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronn Chew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Wah in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ron Soon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronn Chew. Nailsworth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ron Soon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 75 minutes into the match, Fordham's goalkeeper Marco Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haziq Keng. Marco Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fariz Dryburgh went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Zak Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Chian struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marco Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nailsworth AFC. Ronn Chew came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fordham's Azam Hsi. But to his dismay, Azam Hsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Ronn Chew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Wah in the 89th minute of play. Azam Hsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronn Chew having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fordham were the better team. Fordham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
