In the 16thth minute of the game Amirul Wah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kings Cross's Rudy Hee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Wei Xuan Leng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Azli Gopala Pillai. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. A collision led to Alwinton United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alex Ning hit a great ball. Alwinton United's Azli Gopala Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Alwinton United from getting a goal against them. If Fariz Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hsi in the 45th minute of play forced Alwinton United's goalkeeper Azli Gopala Pillai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Mohammad Hsi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alwinton United's Azli Gopala Pillai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Azli Gopala Pillai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Azli Gopala Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hsi in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Mohammad Hsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kings Cross fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alif Politiek in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azli Gopala Pillai saved Alwinton United from getting behind. Azli Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alif Politiek in the 90th minute of the match. Afriz Lee might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azli Gopala Pillai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afriz Lee ran back to his position shaking his head. Azli Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alif Politiek in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Alif Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azli Gopala Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kings Cross walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
