The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronn Chew showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Anil Amin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azli Gopala Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ang Kool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Zak Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nailsworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zak Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azli Gopala Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Azli Gopala Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zak Teo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Nailsworth AFC's Zak Teo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azli Gopala Pillai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anil Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Azli Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gara Sum hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Azli Gopala Pillai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zak Teo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ang Kool was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Alwinton United's goalkeeper Azli Gopala Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zak Teo. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ang Kool managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alwinton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ang Kool was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronn Chew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Haziq Keng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anil Amin in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azli Gopala Pillai saved Alwinton United from getting behind. Zak Teo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Azli Gopala Pillai made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ang Kool in the 79th minute of play forced Nailsworth AFC's goalkeeper Ronn Chew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ang Kool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
