Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Liversedge's Sean Lim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Liversedge's Jithu Tioe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faris Lam in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Cheng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jithu Tioe. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Ang Namasivayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jithu Tioe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Liversedge's Ryan Peng got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Hidayat Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hidayat Liang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ang Namasivayam during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21stth minute of the game Ang Namasivayam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liversedge's Jithu Tioe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jithu Chian hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Adam Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faris Lam might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jithu Tioe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faris Lam ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the game, Ryan Peng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liversedge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. 43 minutes into the match, Liversedge's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Cheng came free, but Jithu Tioe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Adam Cheng made the kick off in the second half. Jithu Tioe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faris Lam went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Liversedge booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hidayat Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jithu Tioe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ang Namasivayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jithu Tioe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ang Namasivayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jithu Tioe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Cheng in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Liversedge getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nicholas Abdul hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Faris Lam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faris Lam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Victor Au hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester United's Ong Vijiaratnam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Yeo in the 83rd minute of play. When Hidayat Liang fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Hidayat Liang a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ang Namasivayam in the 89th minute of play forced Liversedge's goalkeeper Jithu Tioe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Cheng struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jithu Tioe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Ang Namasivayam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jithu Tioe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manchester United fully deserved thier win.
