Khairul Kang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ang Kool struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Khairul Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alwinton United. After 23 played minutes Shapitears FC got a freekick which was hit by Zack Chuan. When Ang Kool fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alwinton United's protests and gave Ang Kool a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Alwinton United got a freekick which was hit by Ang Kool. If Ang Kool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Gara Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shapitears FC's Khairul Kang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Shapitears FC from getting a goal against them. Amirul Wah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ang Kool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Shapitears FC's Azly Braddell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azli Gopala Pillai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sarb Chee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azli Gopala Pillai having to interfere.

Khairul Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ang Kool in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Shapitears FC booed when Alwinton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shapitears FC's Zack Chuan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Azli Gopala Pillai but with some difficulty. Azli Gopala Pillai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sarb Chee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 62 minute of play. Sarb Chee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azli Gopala Pillai having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Gara Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Alwinton United's Farhan Liang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Khairul Kang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alwinton United reached it. Ang Kool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khairul Kang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ang Kool's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Khairul Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ang Kool in the 90th minute of play. Azly Braddell struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Azli Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shapitears FC. 95 minutes into the match, Alwinton United's goal looked a bit too open when Sarb Chee came free, but Azli Gopala Pillai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Alex Ning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alwinton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shapitears FC the free kick. Alex Ning hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Azly Braddell struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Azli Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shapitears FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alwinton United had won after a very even match.
