The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Runcorn's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Teo came free, but Alexander Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronn Chew made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Hidayat Teo sent off a good shot on target. In the 17thth minute of the game Didi Low who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nailsworth AFC's Ronn Chew was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zak Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Teo having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Runcorn's goal looked a bit too open when Anil Amin came free, but Alexander Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nailsworth AFC's Anil Amin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Didi Low shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronn Chew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronn Chew stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Low's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute Didi Low shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronn Chew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Anil Amin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nailsworth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anil Amin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Didi Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Seah was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nailsworth AFC's Zak Teo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Runcorn got a freekick which was hit by Faiz Chien-Kwan. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Zak Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nailsworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zak Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Teo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Runcorn defense, Zak Teo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Teo. The Runcorn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Teo should have stopped the shot.
