Seating: 1555, VIP seats: 44) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Tian started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Khai Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danial Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alif Singh in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Alif Singh made a precise shot to the right of Danial Chian. Tewkesbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Worsley AFC booed when Tewkesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ong Namasivayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Worsley AFC's Faiz Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sarb Hee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Danial Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alif Singh hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Mujahid Wenyong charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mujahid Wenyong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Worsley AFC booed when Tewkesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mujahid Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faiz Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Chian having to interfere. If Ronn Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarb Hee in the 29th minute of play forced Tewkesbury's goalkeeper Danial Chian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Mark Tian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danial Chian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mark Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Worsley AFC's Alif Singh got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Alif Singh off the ground. In the 48th match minute, Worsley AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alif Singh to maneuver through the defense.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anil Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tewkesbury's goalkeeper Danial Chian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khai Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial Chian having to interfere. Sarb Hee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danial Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Tian in the 66th minute of play. Danial Chian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Tian's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tewkesbury's zone, Khai Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danial Chian came out of the goal and Khai Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khai Tan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danial Chian having to make a save. Steven Namasivayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anil Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khai Tan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Danial Chian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Worsley AFC. If Nicholas Dhanabalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danial Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sarb Hee came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Worsley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sarb Hee couldn't finish the play. Sarb Hee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danial Chian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Danial Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Dhanabalan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
