Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amir Tioe started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Fariz Lum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wei Xuan Hsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudy Seah got free with Wei Xuan Hsin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amir Tioe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Wei Xuan Hsin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Tioe in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wei Xuan Hsin saved FC Barçelona B from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Barçelona B's Hafriz Rajah got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fariz Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, FC Barçelona B's goalkeeper Wei Xuan Hsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Ramachandran. When Shafiq Yang fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thorne FC's protests and gave Shafiq Yang a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Barçelona B booed when Thorne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shafiq Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wei Xuan Hsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 28th minute. Thorne FC's Fariz Lum got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wei Xuan Hsin made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ali Ramachandran sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Fariz Lum made a precise shot to the right of Wei Xuan Hsin. FC Barçelona B's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Rifqi Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wei Xuan Hsin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Hsi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. FC Barçelona B's Wei Xuan Hsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barçelona B from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amir Tioe in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wei Xuan Hsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zack Yi-Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. FC Barçelona B's Wei Xuan Hsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fariz Lum in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, FC Barçelona B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wong Namasivayam to maneuver through the defense. If Ali Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Barçelona B getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rifki Shyan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Amir Tioe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thorne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amir Tioe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wei Xuan Hsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fariz Lum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amir Tioe struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Wei Xuan Hsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thorne FC. Amir Tioe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Xuan Hsin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Tioe in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wei Xuan Hsin saved FC Barçelona B from getting behind. Wei Xuan Hsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Tioe's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Tian in the 95th minute of play forced Thorne FC's goalkeeper Ron Choy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
