Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Khairul Lee started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tewkesbury's Danial Chian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairul Lee in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match Mohammad Shiong sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danial Chian skillfully saved the ball. Tewkesbury's Danial Chian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairul Lee in the 13th minute of play. Shukrie Siong kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes in the game, Khairul Lee fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danial Chian having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rifqi Hongyi got free with Danial Chian in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danial Chian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rifqi Hongyi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alam Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anil Tan in the 28th minute of play. Danial Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danial Chian came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Derby's Rifqi Hongyi. But to his dismay, Rifqi Hongyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rifqi Hongyi got free with Danial Chian in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tewkesbury booed when Derby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rifqi Hongyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniz Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alam Phua having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Derby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Lim to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anil Tan to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rifqi Hongyi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Hongyi in the 59th minute of play forced Tewkesbury's goalkeeper Danial Chian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danial Chian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khairul Lee went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Danial Chian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifqi Hongyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Tewkesbury got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chong. After having played for 67 minutes, Khairul Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khairul Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Anil Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derby's Alam Phua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniz Tee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alam Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tewkesbury's Danial Chian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairul Lee in the 81st minute of play. Danial Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khairul Lee in the 83rd minute of the match. Alam Phua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anil Tan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tewkesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Rifqi Hongyi came free, but Danial Chian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Khairul Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khairul Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anil Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tewkesbury players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Derby.
