The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shukrie Amin scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Fry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shukrie Amin in the 9th minute of play forced Asot City's goalkeeper Dylan Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Asot City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jay Ball hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Scorpio FC's goalkeeper Bineesh Shiong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dylan Merchant. If Dylan Merchant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Shukrie Amin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shukrie Amin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When William Church came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Asot City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Church couldn't finish the play. Dylan Merchant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Bineesh Shiong made a huge save. In the 39th minute, William Church got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Dylan Merchant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bineesh Shiong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bineesh Shiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Church in the 45th minute of the match.

Dylan Fry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Firdauz Choo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Firdauz Choo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dylan Fry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Alfred Styles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shukrie Amin might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dylan Fry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shukrie Amin ran back to his position shaking his head. Shukrie Amin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dylan Fry made a huge save. If Dylan Merchant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, William Church had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bineesh Shiong. Scorpio FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Church was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Shukrie Amin might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dylan Fry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shukrie Amin ran back to his position shaking his head. Shukrie Amin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Firdauz Choo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Scorpio FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Asot City.
