Victor Choo's late challenge caught a Cars Are Expensive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Choo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Longridge getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Victor Choo hit a great ball. Bryan Hsin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Khai Abisheganaden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 16 minutes of play, Longridge's Lamar Henderson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zak Swee was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Hsin got free with Khai Abisheganaden in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Longridge got a freekick which was hit by Victor Choo. In the 33rd minute, Bryan Kool got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Cars Are Expensive's Bryan Hsin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khai Abisheganaden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

Khairil Teo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khai Abisheganaden. Khai Abisheganaden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 55th minute, Bryan Hsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryan Kool took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khai Abisheganaden. Khai Abisheganaden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Bryan Kool had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khai Abisheganaden. Longridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Kool was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Afriz Tian struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Zak Swee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longridge. Bryan Kool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Kool blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khai Abisheganaden having to make a save. In the 74th minute Bryan Hsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khai Abisheganaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aziz Yip fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longridge's protests and gave Aziz Yip a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cars Are Expensive booed when Longridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Yip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khairil Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Abisheganaden having to interfere. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Hsin in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Cars Are Expensive got a freekick which was hit by Haziq Lim. When Afiq Pieng came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Longridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afiq Pieng couldn't finish the play. Cars Are Expensive's Bryan Kool got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khai Abisheganaden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Hsin in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cars Are Expensive had played much better football throughout.
