In the 12th minute, Shahron Dhanabalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Khairil Cho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Khai Abisheganaden. Longridge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Longridge getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Afiq Hui hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khairil Lee made a kick off. Nicholas Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Longridge's Khai Abisheganaden got control of the ball when Khairil Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Stannington AFC's corner Rudy Hui fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Khai Abisheganaden quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute, Afriz Tian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Khairil Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khairil Lee struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Khai Abisheganaden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stannington AFC. Ang Peng didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-2 via right post in the game's 69th minute. Stannington AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Longridge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stannington AFC:s goal. If Amirul Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Khairil Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stannington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Khairil Lee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khai Abisheganaden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Khai Abisheganaden managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Stannington AFC's Ang Peng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Afriz Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zafran Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Khairil Lee came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Stannington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khairil Lee couldn't finish the play. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Tan in the 96th minute of play. If Khairil Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Longridge succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Stannington AFC had controlled the match.
