Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Longridge's Afriz Tian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Tan scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khai Abisheganaden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Tan got free with Khai Abisheganaden in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerry Tan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Gloucester FC's Darryl Lee in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Longridge's goalie prevented a goal. If Jonathan Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Gloucester FC's Afiz Keng broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Khai Abisheganaden made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jonathan Tan sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Longridge's Khai Abisheganaden got control of the ball when Jonathan Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afriz Tian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Afiq Pieng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Longridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloucester FC the free kick. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Longridge! The referee gave Gloucester FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Afiz Keng, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Longridge's Khai Abisheganaden. 2-0. Jonathan Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afriz Yi-Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Abisheganaden having to interfere. A collision led to Longridge getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jerry Tan hit a great ball. Khai Abisheganaden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Tan in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afriz Yi-Sheng made a kick off. Aziz Yip charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aziz Yip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afriz Yi-Sheng in the 54th minute of play. Jerry Tan's late challenge caught a Gloucester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Tan helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the game, one of Longridge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afriz Yi-Sheng in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khai Abisheganaden saved Longridge from getting behind. Khai Abisheganaden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Tan went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Afriz Tian hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Jonathan Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Longridge's zone, Jonathan Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khai Abisheganaden came out of the goal and Jonathan Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ong Gopala Pillai kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Afiz Keng, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 89th minute, Afiz Keng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khai Abisheganaden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Yi-Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Gloucester FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
