Longridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riseley the free kick. In the 7th minute, Muhammad Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azli Hsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Abisheganaden having to interfere. Khai Abisheganaden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Tan in the 12th minute of the match. Longridge's Lamar Henderson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Longridge booed when Riseley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hidayat Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afiq Hui kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Azli Hsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Longridge's zone, Azli Hsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khai Abisheganaden came out of the goal and Azli Hsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Tan in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azli Hsin in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khai Abisheganaden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Tan in the 28th minute of play. Khai Abisheganaden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azli Hsin went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Longridge's goal looked a bit too open when Muhammad Tan came free, but Khai Abisheganaden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Longridge's Khai Abisheganaden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Tan in the 37th minute of play. Khairul Dhanabalan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afriz Tian in the 42nd minute of the match. Lamar Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Khairul Dhanabalan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azli Hsin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Muhammad Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Tian in the 56th minute of play forced Riseley's goalkeeper Khairul Dhanabalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khai Abisheganaden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammad Tan in the 67th minute. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azli Hsin in the 69th minute of play. Shah Henderson took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khai Abisheganaden. Khai Abisheganaden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 76th minute Afriz Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairul Dhanabalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riseley's Azli Hsin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Aziz Yip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Muhammad Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azli Hsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Abisheganaden having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Riseley had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
