After a defensive mix-up in Reach's zone, Hafriz Hee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rifki Choo came out of the goal and Hafriz Hee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Farhan Ching in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rifki Choo saved Reach from getting behind. In the 13th minute, John Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faiz Ching struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rifki Choo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barton upon Humber. Rifki Choo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhan Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barton upon Humber's supporters rose to their feet, but Farhan Ching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rifki Choo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Faiz Ching's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rifki Choo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Farhan Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barton upon Humber's supporters rose to their feet, but Farhan Ching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rifki Choo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rifki Choo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farhan Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Azli Ching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barton upon Humber the free kick. Barton upon Humber's Bakar Yang suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. After 26 minutes, Alif Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reach and the Barton upon Humber players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barton upon Humber's Faiz Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Barton upon Humber fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Barton upon Humber's Faiz Ching looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rifki Choo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farhan Ching in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Hafriz Hee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barton upon Humber and the Reach players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barton upon Humber getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hafriz Hee hit a great ball. Farhan Ching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rifki Choo having to interfere. Mark Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barton upon Humber's Faiz Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rifki Choo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafriz Hee in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faiz Ching to make the kick off. Rifki Choo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faiz Ching in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Fariz Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rifki Choo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hafriz Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farhan Ching could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Rifki Choo made a huge save. Fariz Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rifki Choo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Barton upon Humber booed when Reach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azli Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rifki Choo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faiz Ching in the 87th minute. Rifki Choo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Farhan Ching sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Hafriz Hee recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rifki Choo. Hafriz Hee showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Reach's Rifki Choo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Ching in the 95th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Barton upon Humber's Farhan Ching made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rifki Choo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barton upon Humber played a much better game than Reach and deserved their victory. The Reach players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
