When Tekong Blues Dragons's Mujahid Ching in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warner United's goalie prevented a goal. Daniz Ning took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Soon. Alan Soon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Alam Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tekong Blues Dragons's Mujahid Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Soon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ang Lee in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Warner United's Didi Hsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azli Nagasaki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Lamar Sum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tekong Blues Dragons and the Warner United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Warner United's Gara Lum slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Azli Nagasaki. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. Gara Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Azli Nagasaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Kool struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Azli Nagasaki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warner United. When Gara Lum came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Warner United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gara Lum couldn't finish the play. Warner United's Alan Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Tan in the 44th minute of play. Felix Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gara Lum struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Azli Nagasaki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warner United. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alam Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ang Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tekong Blues Dragons's Azli Nagasaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gara Lum in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mujahid Ching got free with Alan Soon in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Rudy Nair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Warner United were furious when Zack Tan was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Warner United! The referee gave Tekong Blues Dragons a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fariz Amin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Warner United's Alan Soon. 1-2. In the 69th minute, Fariz Amin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gara Lum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Soon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mujahid Ching in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mujahid Ching got free with Alan Soon in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Warner United's goalkeeper Alan Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mujahid Ching. With a little luck, Warner United's Alan Soon got control of the ball when Mujahid Ching tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudy Nair kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Warner United's Alan Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Tan in the 95th minute of play. Rudy Nair fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 98th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tekong Blues Dragons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
