Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Azam Hui kicked off to start the match. Jithu Liang was a little too slow when Faiz Ching got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute, Azam Hui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Famih Pieng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Azam Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Alresford AFC's Jithu Liang got control of the ball when Faiz Ching tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Barton upon Humber getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hafriz Hee hit a great ball. Lamar Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Famih Pieng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Farhan Ching from a close distance when the talented Jithu Liang managed to make a qualified save. Alresford AFC's players were relieved. Faiz Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, Barton upon Humber's Farhan Ching made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jithu Liang was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Farhan Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faiz Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Farhan Ching got free with Jithu Liang in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Faiz Ching came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Barton upon Humber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faiz Ching couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Ching in the 47th minute of play forced Barton upon Humber's goalkeeper Lamar Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faiz Ching to make the kick off. Farhan Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jithu Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faiz Ching in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jithu Liang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faiz Ching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Liang having to interfere. Jithu Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Farhan Ching's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Faiz Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Alresford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Farhan Ching came free, but Jithu Liang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Alresford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bakar Swee. When Farhan Ching came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Barton upon Humber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farhan Ching couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Barton upon Humber booed when Alresford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakar Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alresford AFC's zone, Lamar Sim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jithu Liang came out of the goal and Lamar Sim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Farhan Ching in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jithu Liang saved Alresford AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Alresford AFC's zone, Faiz Ching stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jithu Liang came out of the goal and Faiz Ching tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Alresford AFC's Lamar Lam threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Azam Hui, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Faiz Ching recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Barton upon Humber were the better team. Barton upon Humber's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
