After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Mujahid Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tekong Blues Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Mujahid Ching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afriz Hsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Haziq Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Azli Nagasaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haziq Soon in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Tekong Blues Dragons's goalkeeper Azli Nagasaki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Sim. In the 35th minute Haziq Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azli Nagasaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azli Nagasaki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Sim in the 44th minute.
