The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Shukrie Devan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Croyde protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Shukrie Devan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Croyde getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Shukrie Devan hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Alexander Lum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Azam Hui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alresford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Azam Hui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wong Dryburgh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Croyde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Laycock to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azam Hui in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wong Dryburgh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wong Dryburgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Ching in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Croyde got a freekick which was hit by Ali Hoe. In the 30th minute Azam Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wong Dryburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Famih Pieng came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wong Dryburgh could save by the left post. In the 35th minute, Alresford AFC's Azam Hui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wong Dryburgh. Wong Dryburgh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Alresford AFC's Danial Ching got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Ali Hoe fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croyde's protests and gave Ali Hoe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alresford AFC booed when Croyde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Azam Hui made the kick off in the second half. Wong Dryburgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alresford AFC's Danial Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amir Laycock hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Alresford AFC's Alexander Lum took a good shot, in the 59th minute, which hit the crossbar above Wong Dryburgh's head, and flew over the goal. Croyde's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Alresford AFC. After 63 played minutes Croyde got a freekick which was hit by Fariz Tan. Wong Dryburgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Famih Pieng, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Alresford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danial Ching. Wong Dryburgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Famih Pieng in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Alresford AFC booed when Croyde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alresford AFC's Famih Pieng in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Croyde's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Croyde getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mohammad Kool hit a great ball. Alexander Lum shot a long shot in the 97th minute and a light blocked Wong Dryburgh hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-0. Alresford AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
