In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Little Comberton's goalkeeper Hafriz Low, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Fariz Ching had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hafriz Low. Little Comberton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fariz Ching was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 16 minutes into the game, Fariz Ching cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Hafriz Low was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute of the match, Farhan Ching got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hafriz Low was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hafriz Teo's late challenge caught a Barton upon Humber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hafriz Teo helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 24 in the game by Farhan Ching from a close distance when the talented Hafriz Low managed to make a qualified save. Little Comberton's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the match, Wei Xuan Pillai notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Barton upon Humber's Lamar Lam. Lamar Lam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Farhan Ching in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hafriz Low, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Fariz Ching came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Barton upon Humber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fariz Ching couldn't finish the play. Fariz Ching hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lamar Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Choy in the 39th minute of the match. Barton upon Humber's Farhan Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faiz Ching fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafriz Low having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gara Choy to make the kick off. Barton upon Humber were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Little Comberton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lamar Sim took the corner. The corner led to Barton upon Humber's Farhan Ching getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Farhan Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Little Comberton's goal looked a bit too open when Fariz Ching came free, but Hafriz Low reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wei Xuan Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hafriz Low showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farhan Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hafriz Low made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faiz Ching in the 65th minute of play. Farhan Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Farhan Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafriz Low saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Faiz Ching left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barton upon Humber fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Little Comberton's Hafriz Low played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farhan Ching in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Farhan Ching in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hafriz Low prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barton upon Humber's Lamar Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Pillai in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Little Comberton got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Choo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barton upon Humber fully deserved thier win.
