Fariz Tioe started the match with the kick off. If Dale Mathews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shahron Leng's late challenge caught a Wynem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shahron Leng helped the player get up and apologised. Leconfield's Hafriz Soon got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fariz Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hafriz Soon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wynem's Muhammad Abdul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shahron Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakar Hee in the 33rd minute of play. Muhammad Abdul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Mark Singh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shahron Lim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Shahron Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Tioe in the 44th minute of play. When Noh Sim fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wynem's protests and gave Noh Sim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Noh Sim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Mathews was the one to do the kick off. If Bakar Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes Wynem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sharizan Politiek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Leconfield's Sharizan Politiek to fire away a dangerous shot which Muhammad Abdul despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dale Mathews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Leconfield booed when Wynem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azli Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dale Mathews kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Muhammad Abdul. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. Bakar Hee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Lim having to interfere. Shahron Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Tioe in the 71st minute of play. If Hafriz Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes in the game, Dale Mathews fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Muhammad Abdul having to interfere. Muhammad Abdul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafriz Soon in the 76th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leconfield's Dale Mathews slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Muhammad Abdul. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute, SK Chian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wynem's Muhammad Abdul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafriz Soon in the 87th minute of play. When Nicholas Nagasaki fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leconfield's protests and gave Nicholas Nagasaki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wynem booed when Leconfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Nagasaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Bakar Hee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wynem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bakar Hee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Leconfield supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leconfield would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
