Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) Fariz Tioe made the kick off and thus started the match. Ong Pillai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fariz Tioe's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Ee in the 6th minute of play forced Wynem's goalkeeper Muhammad Abdul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Muhammad Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shelfield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Muhammad Liang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Abdul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Azli Pieng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shelfield United's Ong Pillai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bakar Hee in the 18th minute of play. Ong Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Hee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muhammad Abdul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Ee in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Wynem got a freekick which was hit by SK Chian. Wynem's Muhammad Abdul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Wynem from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Fariz Tioe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ong Pillai was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Shelfield United's Ryan Ee got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muhammad Abdul came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Shelfield United's Muhammad Liang. But to his dismay, Muhammad Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan Ee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Shelfield United's goalkeeper Ong Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bakar Hee. The supporters of Wynem booed when Shelfield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fariz Tioe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wynem's supporters rose to their feet, but Fariz Tioe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ong Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bakar Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wynem's Alex Choy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ong Pillai but with some difficulty. Azli Pieng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fariz Tioe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ong Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ong Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Tioe in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Fariz Tioe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ong Pillai. The goal made the score 1-2. Fariz Tioe succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Muhammad Abdul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Liang in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Shelfield United getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hidayat Kang hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Shelfield United's goalkeeper Ong Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bakar Hee.
