Lion's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Bradford on Avon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Hoe came free, but Sharizan Pieng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradford on Avon AFC's Sharizan Pieng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Hoe in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bradford on Avon AFC's Adam Nair got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 72 played minutes Lion got a freekick which was hit by Amir Hong. Tan Choy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Shahiran Lee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Lion's goalkeeper Shahiran Lee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Nair. In the 75th minute, Danial Sum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jithu Henderson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bradford on Avon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jithu Henderson couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Bradford on Avon AFC's Shahiran Lee threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Faizal Leng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tan Choy in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shahiran Lee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amir Hong's late challenge caught a Bradford on Avon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amir Hong helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Amir Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradford on Avon AFC played a much better game than Lion and deserved their victory. The Lion players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
