In the 9thth minute of the game Laurence Brewer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavendon City's Amir Tan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rufus Sharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blyth's Robin Garforth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shafiq Chan in the 21st minute of play. Amir Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Brewer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afiq Seng during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laurence Brewer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amir Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurence Brewer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Garforth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicholas Pieng in the 43rd minute. When Rufus Sharp came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Blyth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Sharp couldn't finish the play. When Blyth's Laurence Brewer in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavendon City's goalie prevented a goal. After 47 minutes of play Lavendon City's Afiq Seng was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicholas Pieng to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicholas Pieng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufus Sharp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Amir Tan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Brewer in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amir Tan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Blyth's Amir Tan threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laurence Brewer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lavendon City's Amir Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Brewer in the 81st minute of play. Rufus Sharp kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Nicholas Pieng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lavendon City's Daniz Yeo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rufus Sharp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Amir Tan made a huge save. Joshua Hartshorn kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Lavendon City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Laurence Brewer scored to the left of an out of position Amir Tan, making the score, 0-1.
