In the 41st minute of the match, Anil Ching tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Asiz Chandran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Asiz Chandran stood somewhat misplaced when Anil Ching came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. Faizal Sarangapani placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
