In the 37th match minute, Binsted AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Braddell to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Binsted AFC's Sajeev Tan got control of the ball when Bakar Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darren Cheng made a kick off. When Bakar Lee fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middlesbrough's protests and gave Bakar Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Bakar Lee hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Shahiran Tee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alam Kang was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 54 played minutes Middlesbrough got a freekick which was hit by Alex Yeo. Bineesh Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Khairul Chai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bakar Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sajeev Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khairul Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Sarb Lim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Binsted AFC and the Middlesbrough players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Binsted AFC's Sarb Lim got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alam Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shahiran Tee in the 81st minute of play. Alam Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Tee in the 87th minute of the match. Darren Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Binsted AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sarb Lim hit a great ball. Ang Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Shahiran Tee struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alam Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Binsted AFC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
