An unexpectedly hard shot by Shukrie Boon in the 14th minute of play forced North Kilworth FC's goalkeeper Khairul Chian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khairul Chian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Yang in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in North Kilworth FC's zone, Alan Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khairul Chian came out of the goal and Alan Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Seng during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dale Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Yang got free with Khairul Chian in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shukrie Boon might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khairul Chian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shukrie Boon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Shukrie Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairul Chian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Croydon getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lamar Ning hit a great ball. Khairul Chian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Yang in the 42nd minute. Shukrie Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Khairul Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Croydon got a freekick which was hit by Ronn Tee. Haziq Braddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Khairul Chian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Yang went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Afiz Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Chien-Kwan having to interfere. Haziq Braddell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khairul Chian having to interfere. Khairul Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Yang in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Croydon were the better team. Croydon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
