If Hamir Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Hee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiz Tioe in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shah Choy in the 21st minute of play forced Red Stags F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Hee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Koh during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Archway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Koh to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Dyce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ang Ning. Archway's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ang Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamir Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rifki Kang's late challenge caught a Archway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rifki Kang helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Archway booed when Red Stags F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rifki Kang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Red Stags F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Tioe came free, but Lee Hee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shah Choy struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Lee Hee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Archway.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamir Peng to make the kick off. Lee Hee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shah Choy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Shah Choy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Archway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shah Choy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shah Choy in the 71st minute of play forced Red Stags F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Hee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shah Choy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afiz Tioe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lee Hee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Red Stags F.C.'s Hamir Peng in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Archway's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamir Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Rifqi Chian sped through Archway's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ang Ning. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Red Stags F.C. had won after a very even match.
