With a little luck, Chatham FC's Hafriz Phua got control of the ball when Alexander Ramachandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alif Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faiz Seah, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Wei Xuan Tee charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wei Xuan Tee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Locksheath AFC's Wei Xuan Tee got a free kick in the 40th minute. Locksheath AFC's Wei Xuan Tee got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Wei Xuan Tee off the ground. In the 89th minute, Wei Xuan Tee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chatham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alif Paine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Locksheath AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
