Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rifqi Ramachandran made the kick off which started today's match. Locksheath AFC's Alexander Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rifqi Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Locksheath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Swee. Locksheath AFC's Alif Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Cookson in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Tetley in the 12th minute of play forced Locksheath AFC's goalkeeper Alif Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rifqi Ramachandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locksheath AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rifqi Ramachandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damion Beale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damion Beale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rifqi Ramachandran's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Damion Beale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifqi Ramachandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Locksheath AFC booed when Minehead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ty Woodford didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Minehead's zone, Rifqi Ramachandran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damion Beale came out of the goal and Rifqi Ramachandran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rifqi Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Beale having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Locksheath AFC's Rifqi Ramachandran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damion Beale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Beale having to interfere. Locksheath AFC's Alif Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Tetley in the 39th minute of play. Gerard Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Rifqi Ramachandran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damion Beale. Rifqi Ramachandran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Frank Tetley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wei Xuan Tee kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alexander Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Damion Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Ramachandran might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damion Beale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bakar Tioe hit a great ball. If Alexander Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minehead's Damion Beale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rifqi Ramachandran in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Locksheath AFC's Rifqi Ramachandran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damion Beale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Alexander Ramachandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a left leg Damion Beale saved Minehead from getting behind. Locksheath AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
