Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Ramachandran started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Arif Pieng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferryton and the Foulsham AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Pieng hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Afiz Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferryton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afiz Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Famih Chong fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foulsham AFC's protests and gave Famih Chong a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Foulsham AFC's Famih Chong got a free kick in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Ferryton's Afriz Lum threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Ramachandran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, Foulsham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Ramachandran came free, but Afriz Lum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mark Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Ramachandran might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afriz Lum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Ramachandran ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Foulsham AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Famih Chong hit a great ball. If Khairil Chai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Mark Ramachandran fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ferryton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Afriz Lum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Ramachandran in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afriz Lum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Afiz Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferryton's supporters rose to their feet, but Afiz Lee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afriz Lum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afriz Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Boon in the 60th minute of play. If Mark Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ferryton booed when Foulsham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Famih Chong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Mark Ramachandran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foulsham AFC's Afriz Lum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afiz Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Afriz Lum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Ramachandran in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afriz Lum saved Foulsham AFC from getting behind. Mark Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Abisheganaden in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Mark Ramachandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Tan made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Amir Laycock sent off a good shot on target. Mark Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afriz Lum having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Amir Laycock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foulsham AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 87 minutes into the match, Jerry Boon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Foulsham AFC's Afriz Lum. Afriz Lum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afriz Lum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Ramachandran's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Afriz Lum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Boon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Jerry Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Ramachandran in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afriz Lum prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
