The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zack Chien-Kwan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Winner11 United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Chien-Kwan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Winner11 United booed when Ashburton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajeev Chai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Choy in the 56th minute of the match. Sarb Henderson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sajeev Chai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Sajeev Chai made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Sarb Henderson sent off a good shot on target. When Sean Chan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashburton AFC's protests and gave Sean Chan a yellow card for diving instead. Sean Chan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sajeev Chai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mujahid Choy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ashburton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sajeev Chai should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Ashburton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mujahid Choy came free, but Sajeev Chai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noh Soon charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noh Soon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ashburton AFC booed when Winner11 United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noh Soon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Ashburton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Shyan to maneuver through the defense. The Ashburton AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Winner11 United to win.
