The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlton Webster during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Carlton Webster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlton Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tenterden booed when F.C Bukit Batok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tenterden's Alastair Welsh got a free kick in the 16th minute. Azam Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlton Webster's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Brad Hollingsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alf Preston kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Ali Seng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mickey Barnes skillfully saved the ball. If Frank Crowther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Carlton Webster notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C Bukit Batok's Azam Teo. Azam Teo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Tenterden's goalkeeper Mickey Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shukrie Peng. F.C Bukit Batok's Azam Teo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save F.C Bukit Batok from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, F.C Bukit Batok's Joel Seng got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Crowther got free with Azam Teo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlton Webster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Azam Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azam Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Webster in the 87th minute of the match. Frank Crowther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tenterden's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
