Mickey Barnes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Faris Tan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Faris Tan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Chislehurst City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Faris Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faris Tan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mickey Barnes firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zack Paine got free with Mickey Barnes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Mickey Barnes managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Chislehurst City's Faris Tan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Faris Tan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Mickey Barnes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Faris Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chislehurst City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faris Tan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faris Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Chislehurst City's Faris Tan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mickey Barnes. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. Les Connery kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Robin Armitage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chislehurst City's Faris Tan in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tenterden's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Tenterden's goalkeeper Mickey Barnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Paine. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Sharizan Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chislehurst City's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharizan Ching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mickey Barnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faris Tan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Crowther could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Iskandar Soon made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Chislehurst City's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Preston came free, but Iskandar Soon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlton Webster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iskandar Soon having to interfere. Iskandar Soon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Crowther in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Chislehurst City getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ali Soon hit a great ball. Caleb Wishart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iskandar Soon. Chislehurst City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Faris Tan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Chislehurst City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faris Tan couldn't finish the play. Zack Paine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mickey Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Chislehurst City got a freekick which was hit by Zack Paine. In the 76th minute, Faris Tan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickey Barnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Chislehurst City's Zack Paine took a good shot, in the 80th minute, which hit the crossbar above Mickey Barnes's head, and flew over the goal. Tenterden's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Chislehurst City. Mickey Barnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faris Tan's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Carlton Webster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tenterden defense, Faris Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mickey Barnes. The Tenterden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mickey Barnes should have stopped the shot. Mickey Barnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faris Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Chislehurst City got a corner. Tenterden's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faris Tan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Faris Tan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tenterden's Mickey Barnes did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faris Tan in the 95th minute of play forced Tenterden's goalkeeper Mickey Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chislehurst City booed when Tenterden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Preston didn't get a good kick on the ball.
