If Tan Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chapel en le frith's Iskandar Hongyi got control of the ball when Lamar Henderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noh Henderson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noh Henderson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Noh Henderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Lamar Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle-upon-Tyne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lamar Henderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Newcastle-upon-Tyne fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Newcastle-upon-Tyne's Lamar Henderson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle-upon-Tyne's zone, Noh Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gara Soon came out of the goal and Noh Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gara Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Lamar Henderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lamar Henderson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Iskandar Hongyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Lamar Henderson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chapel en le frith's Iskandar Hongyi. Iskandar Hongyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the game, Lamar Henderson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iskandar Hongyi. Lamar Henderson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Iskandar Hongyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tan Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tan Chuan made a kick off. Iskandar Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Chuan in the 59th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Noh Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes, Tan Chuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Chapel en le frith players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tan Chuan in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iskandar Hongyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Tan Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iskandar Hongyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iskandar Hongyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tan Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lamar Henderson in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iskandar Hongyi saved Chapel en le frith from getting behind. After 82 played minutes Newcastle-upon-Tyne got a freekick which was hit by Noh Ching. After 85 minutes, Noh Ching mouthed his way into the referee's book.
