Faizal Henderson made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jamie Law sent off a good shot on target. Neston TRUDAİ's Adam Choo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afriz Tioe during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, one of Neston TRUDAİ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neston TRUDAİ. Neston TRUDAİ:s Faizal Henderson showed great skill when he stopped Bart Laurie:s penalty. After 10 minutes of play, Ash AFC's Bart Laurie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faizal Henderson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adam Choo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Ash AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Liang came free, but Casey Way reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Adam Choo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ash AFC's Casey Way tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Choo in the 23rd minute of play forced Ash AFC's goalkeeper Casey Way to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ash AFC booed when Neston TRUDAİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. SK Chandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joey Lawton fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ash AFC's protests and gave Joey Lawton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ash AFC's Joey Lawton got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ash AFC's Casey Way played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azli Tian in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Merlin Liang notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ash AFC's Casey Way. Casey Way was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casey Way made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Liang in the 42nd minute of play. Casey Way didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azli Tian went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Adam Choo might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casey Way. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Choo ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ash AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neston TRUDAİ were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Choo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azli Tian in the 54th minute of play forced Ash AFC's goalkeeper Casey Way to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azli Tian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casey Way came out and tried to block the shot, but Azli Tian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 56th minute. Adam Choo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Way having to interfere. Aziz Hee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Way having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Ash AFC's Jamie Law sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faizal Henderson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neston TRUDAİ! Ash AFC's Casey Way played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azli Tian in the 73rd minute of play. If Alan Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Dryburgh hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Ash AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Laurie to maneuver through the defense. Casey Way was a little too slow when Azli Tian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-6. Azli Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Casey Way tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casey Way stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Azli Tian's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Clive Chew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neston TRUDAİ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clive Chew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Neston TRUDAİ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ash AFC throughout the match.
