With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tan Chien-Kwan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faizal Kang saved Stonehouse from getting behind. Firdauz Ee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Kang having to interfere. Shah Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hillhead FC's Firdauz Ee in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stonehouse's goalie prevented a goal. Firdauz Ee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Faizal Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, SK Lim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faizal Kang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Firdauz Ee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faizal Kang having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Firdauz Ee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faizal Kang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 28th minute, Firdauz Ee made a precise shot to the right of Faizal Kang. Stonehouse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Firdauz Ee scored 0-6 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faizal Kang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, SK Lim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Faizal Kang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faizal Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firdauz Ee in the 38th minute of play. If Firdauz Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse's Alif Butcher got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muhammad Lee to strike the kick off in the second half. Stonehouse's Faizal Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firdauz Ee in the 52nd minute of play. When SK Lim came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hillhead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that SK Lim couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tan Chien-Kwan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillhead FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tan Chien-Kwan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faizal Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Firdauz Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hillhead FC's Tan Chien-Kwan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Firdauz Ee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faizal Kang, 0-9. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Firdauz Ee took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Faizal Kang to make any attempt to save it. After 72nd play minutes Firdauz Ee shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Faizal Kang and just under the crossbar into goal. 76 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's Shah Teo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamir Amin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faizal Kang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Ee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 78 minute of play. Faizal Kang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firdauz Ee, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tan Chien-Kwan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillhead FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tan Chien-Kwan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Firdauz Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Firdauz Ee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stonehouse's Shah Teo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Hillhead FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stonehouse throughout the match.
