Mohammad Hongyi started the match with the kick off. Wimbledon FC's Jonathan Sim got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonathan Sim came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Wimbledon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Sim couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hongyi in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Wimbledon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Rajah to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mohammad Hongyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teisir Pollo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohammad Hongyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Amin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shah Keng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Darryl Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Chee's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Darryl Pillai on his right side and into the goal. 27 minutes into the game it was 0-1. In the 31st minute, Ronn Abisheganaden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Teisir Pollo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Devan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohammad Hock got free with Jonathan Amin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steven Rajah was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Teisir Pollo booed when Wimbledon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Rajah didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Wimbledon FC's Jonathan Amin got control of the ball when Mohammad Hock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronn Abisheganaden kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Wimbledon FC's Jonathan Sim got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Teisir Pollo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Au to maneuver through the defense. The Teisir Pollo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wimbledon FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Sim to make the kick off. Jonathan Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hock in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Wimbledon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Keng to maneuver through the defense. If Alex Wenyong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teisir Pollo's Khai Ning was substituted for Steven Au. Jonathan Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Pillai made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jonathan Sim sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Sim might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darryl Pillai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Sim ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohammad Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Amin having to interfere. When Teisir Pollo's Mohammad Hongyi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wimbledon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khai Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jonathan Sim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wimbledon FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
