When Jonathan Chandran came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Toa Payoh Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Chandran couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jonathan Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toa Payoh Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Chandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Laycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Toa Payoh Town's Afiz Siang got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rifki Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ong Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Faris Siang kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind pasiriding fc's goalkeeper Ryan Laycock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rifki Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Václav Klátik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Prime Paine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ryan Laycock. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Bryan Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toa Payoh Town's Rifki Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Seng in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute Ong Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rifki Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Toa Payoh Town's Afiz Siang got a free kick in the 44th minute. Faris Siang's late challenge caught a pasiriding fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faris Siang helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Toa Payoh Town got a freekick which was hit by Faris Siang. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prime Paine to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Prime Paine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toa Payoh Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, Prime Paine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryan Laycock. pasiriding fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prime Paine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of pasiriding fc booed when Toa Payoh Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Siang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Jonathan Chandran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ong Sengs short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Rifki Lim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Khairil Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bineesh Swee lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Toa Payoh Town booed when pasiriding fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bineesh Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes, Jonathan Chandran made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. pasiriding fc's Ryan Laycock tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
