Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Haziq Seng made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Frodsham AFC's goalkeeper Azli Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamir Au. 3 minutes into the game, Mark Yeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frodsham AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hucknall the free kick. After 4 played minutes Frodsham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Yeo. The audience was convinced that Haziq Seng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Azli Soon was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Frodsham AFC's Azli Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haziq Seng in the 6th minute of play. Haziq Seng might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azli Soon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haziq Seng ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamir Au got free with Azli Soon in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 9 minutes, Shahiran Hock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frodsham AFC and the Hucknall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shahiran Hock hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Hamir Au received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Azli Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamir Au got free with Azli Soon in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shahiran Hock hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Haziq Seng struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Azli Soon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucknall. Alam Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Ching in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Mark Yeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Ching in the 45th minute of play forced Hucknall's goalkeeper Alam Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haziq Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azli Soon having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noh Kool to make the kick off. A hard shot 58 in the game by Gerard Ching from a close distance when the talented Alam Lee managed to make a qualified save. Hucknall's players were relieved. Mark Yeo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Azli Soon came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hucknall's Hamir Au. But to his dismay, Hamir Au quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haziq Seng in the 68th minute of play forced Frodsham AFC's goalkeeper Azli Soon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Hucknall's Haziq Seng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azli Soon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frodsham AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Hamir Au sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Alam Lee managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Frodsham AFC's Gerard Ching fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hamir Au struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Azli Soon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucknall. Azli Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haziq Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Azli Soon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haziq Seng in the 99th minute of play. There was no doubt that Hucknall were the better team. Hucknall's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
