Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ronn Abisheganaden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zafran Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Amin having to interfere. Afiq Keng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronn Abisheganaden, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Shah Keng hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Lamar Sum kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Afiq Keng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shah Keng, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Watlington defense, Shah Keng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiq Keng. The Watlington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiq Keng should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronn Abisheganaden in the 23rd minute of play forced Watlington's goalkeeper Afiq Keng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Alex Keng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watlington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Keng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Wimbledon FC's Ronn Abisheganaden in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Afiq Keng guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jonathan Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Watlington's goal looked a bit too open when Ronn Abisheganaden came free, but Afiq Keng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Amin managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Watlington's Zafran Phua fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Watlington's Lamar Sum got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes, Wimbledon FC's Felix Chee shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afiq Keng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wimbledon FC reached it. Wimbledon FC's Jonathan Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Keng in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Alex Keng took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Amin to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Keng to make the kick off. Mark Boon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Wimbledon FC's Afiq Keng threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronn Abisheganaden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zafran Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Watlington's Alex Keng made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Amin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 62 minutes, Zafran Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watlington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zafran Phua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afiq Keng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alif Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alif Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Felix Chee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afiq Keng skillfully saved the ball. Ronn Abisheganaden struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Afiq Keng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wimbledon FC. In the 73rd minute, Ronn Abisheganaden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Ronn Abisheganaden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afiq Keng. Ronn Abisheganaden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Shah Keng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Afiq Keng made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Rajah in the 78th minute of play forced Watlington's goalkeeper Afiq Keng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alex Keng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watlington's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Keng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Amin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Wimbledon FC's zone, Alex Keng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Amin came out of the goal and Alex Keng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
