Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manor Park's Bakar Devan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Manor Park booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Ang Seng got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Bakar Devan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manor Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Bakar Devan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mujahid Abdul to maneuver through the defense. Bakar Kang came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Manor Park's Faris Phua. But to his dismay, Faris Phua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ang Seng scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bakar Kang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Jonathan Chan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khairil Mathews. Manor Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Chan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Ang Seng came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Manor Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ang Seng couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Seng to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Bakar Devan made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Waterfoot's Bakar Kang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Khairil Mathews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shah Laycock in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Manor Park's Faris Phua ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bakar Kang. Bakar Kang yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 31st minute Bakar Devan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Seng in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bakar Kang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Bakar Kang managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Manor Park's Ang Seng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Ching made a kick off. Ang Seng might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Kang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ang Seng ran back to his position shaking his head. Bakar Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Devan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manor Park's Khairil Mathews proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Manor Park from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, John Ching dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khairil Mathews, 6-2. The supporters of Waterfoot booed when Manor Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ang Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Bakar Devan came free, but Bakar Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Waterfoot's Hidayat Choy got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Ang Seng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manor Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. When Faris Phua came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Manor Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faris Phua couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Mujahid Abdul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Manor Park's Ang Seng in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterfoot's goalie prevented a goal. After 78th play minutes Bakar Devan shot 8-2, a short shot which went by Bakar Kang and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 84th minute Bakar Devan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Faris Phua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bakar Kang. Waterfoot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faris Phua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. Faris Phua hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Bakar Devan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faris Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faris Phua might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Kang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faris Phua ran back to his position shaking his head. Manor Park walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
