The supporters of Toa Payoh Town booed when Frodsham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shahiran Hock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shahiran Hock charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shahiran Hock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Frodsham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shahiran Hock to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Frodsham AFC's Shahiran Hock got a free kick in the 27th minute. Prime Paine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Azli Soon. Frodsham AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noh Kool in the 30th minute of play forced Toa Payoh Town's goalkeeper Rifki Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Jonathan Chandran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Azli Soon. Frodsham AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Chandran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jonathan Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

53 minutes into the game, Toa Payoh Town's Prime Paine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azli Soon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jonathan Chandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Azli Soon made a huge save. Jonathan Seng's late challenge caught a Toa Payoh Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Seng helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Frodsham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Seng to maneuver through the defense. Rifki Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Prime Paine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Chandran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Azli Soon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Shahiran Hock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rifki Lim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Frodsham AFC's Azli Soon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Frodsham AFC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Toa Payoh Town getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gage Kool hit a great ball. With a little luck, Frodsham AFC's Azli Soon got control of the ball when Jonathan Chandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chants of Toa Payoh Town echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Frodsham AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
