Hamir Au received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haziq Siong came out and tried to block the shot, but Hamir Au slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 54th minute. Hucknall's Alam Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Lee in the 66th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Hamir Au mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hucknall and the Waterfoot players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamir Au hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Daniel Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Waterfoot players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
