Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, Mohammad Seng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brey Lake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Darren Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wong Siong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brey Lake's Alexander Chong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Brey Lake from getting a goal against them. Bovingdon's Mark Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Khairul Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Albert Choo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes, Brey Lake's Shahron Gopala Pillai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darren Seng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brey Lake reached it. Darren Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Laycock in the 24th minute of play. Darren Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bovingdon's Darren Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairul Ching in the 27th minute of play. Mark Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Chong having to interfere. Alexander Chong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Seng in the 32nd minute of the match. Jerry Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alexander Chong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tan Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alexander Chong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bovingdon's Darren Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad Seng in the 39th minute of play. Jerry Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Chong was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Mark Seng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Seng really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
After 50 played minutes Brey Lake got a freekick which was hit by Azly Chuan. Alexander Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Seng in the 54th minute of play. If Mark Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bovingdon getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mark Seng hit a great ball. Darren Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Mark Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Chong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Brey Lake's protests and gave Mohammad Seng a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Brey Lake got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Seng. 91 minutes into the game, Mark Seng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bovingdon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brey Lake the free kick. The supporters of Brey Lake booed when Bovingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bovingdon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
