A collision led to Wallsend 777 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Steven Shyan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Danish Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallsend 777's supporters rose to their feet, but Danish Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Famih Henderson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muhammad Soon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ong Sarangapani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ong Sarangapani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Muhammad Soon. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Holford United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ong Sarangapani to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Ong Sarangapani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Soon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhammad Soon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Afiq Ee sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Holford United's Afiq Ee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muhammad Soon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Steven Shyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Zack Abdul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wallsend 777 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Asiz Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Zack Abdul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Famih Henderson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Famih Henderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danish Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shahiran Hsin made a kick off. Muhammad Soon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afiq Ee went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Afiq Ee might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muhammad Soon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afiq Ee ran back to his position shaking his head. Gara Tuan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Muhammad Soon. Wallsend 777's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Danish Tian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Famih Henderson, 3-2. In the 67th minute, Shahiran Hsin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Holford United's Famih Henderson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Holford United from getting a goal against them. Muhammad Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiq Ee, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Adam Ching's late challenge caught a Wallsend 777's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Ching helped the player get up and apologised. Afiq Ee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Wallsend 777 booed when Holford United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shah Ee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Wallsend 777 got a freekick which was hit by Gage Au. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ong Sarangapani during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Ong Sarangapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, Holford United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gara Tuan to maneuver through the defense. Wallsend 777's Shahiran Hsin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holford United. Afiq Ee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Soon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jerry Devan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Devan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Soon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ong Sarangapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Muhammad Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Wah took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhammad Soon. Muhammad Soon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Holford United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
